Saudi Arabia hosted a multilateral meeting titled "Shaping New Markets: Markets of Tomorrow Accelerator in Saudi Arabia" on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) special meeting held in Riyadh.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the meeting aims to unify support and activate partnerships between the public, private, and academic sectors.
The Accelerator targets identifying promising new markets capable of transforming the Kingdom's economy and developing optimal strategies for growing these markets within the country. Based on national priorities and aspirations in the research, development, and innovation sector, the Accelerator has identified two key areas for promising markets: achieving carbon neutrality and developing knowledge cities.
These core areas align with other national strategies, such as the National Investment Strategy, the National Strategy for Industry, the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, and the targets of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Programme.
